Even if last weekend’s games were kinda ho-hum, an analysis of our picks would suggest otherwise. The group combined to hit 25% of the exact scorelines (we had hit less than 9% before then), there was wild disparity amongst the group, and at the bottom was one unfamiliar face (Rich), and one very familiar face (Luke) merely being able to ascertain that Greenville are good. I know that I personally am running on borrowed time, so I’m going to keep applying the burns to them until they become undeniably cringe (for the record, they are only moderately cringe at the moment).
Speaking of which, I believe it is time to fade me. For those of you unfamiliar with gambling terminology, fading is when you start to intentionally bet against somebody’s predictions for whatever reason. I’ve correctly predicted 7 out of 10 matches the past two weeks, including two draws. So if you’ve been riding my train, a couple of things:
- First of all, you are bold. I’ve found a website that aggregates USL League One betting lines from a multitude of markets, and most of the ones offering USL League One matches are either in Eastern Europe or Southeast Asia. Most of these sites have, ummm, numerous warnings about likelihood of receiving payment.
- You’re welcome for the winnings, but there’s a reason I live in Omaha, Nebraska and am a BI developer by trade. So if you gamble on other sports, and would like me to make a selection so that you can go opposite, slide into those DMs.
